Getting stuff done in screen-based media, Mauri is a Vancouver-based Editor
with experience as a Puppeteer, Actor, Director, Writer, and Assistant Sound Recordist.

 Her early career is distinguished as a performer in television, film, and theatre, spanning from a supporting role on Doogie Howser, MD to eleven years as a principal performer with ComedySportz Los Angeles
to dozens of puppets in Team America,World Police.

After emigrating to Canada in 2008, her work increasing shifted behind the camera
as she expanded her technical capacities to apply her diverse storytelling prowess to editing.
Principally, she edits MOW's airing on Hallmark, UPtv, Lifetime Television, OUTtv and Ion.
She also enjoyed the delightfully novel experience of editing a narrative feature in Chinese, Fatal Visit,
as well as collaborating on a feature documentary, 4 Dancers' Dreams,
and editing a 3-channel art installation
for the multi-disciplinary visual artist Althea Thauberger, Listers of Earthy.

She is a graduate of New York University, having attended both Tisch School of the Arts and SEHNAP
and has part of a Master’s Degree in Consciousness Studies from the Holmes Institute.

An avid home chef who secretly enjoys Zumba, Mauri seeks to simplify joy in everything.
A self-described “Wineau,” she has a penchant for pairing vegetarian food and made the victory lap a standard
at blind wine tastings.  She also does a perfect kookaburra impression.
